Rig Floor Handling Tool API 7K Pneumatic and Hydraulic Casing Back up Power Tong

TB casing back-up tong is used to perform casing operation by combining with casing power tong and can ensure connection quality and eliminate deformation of main tong under large torque. The back-up tong features safety, reliability, labor-saving, and high efficiency. There are two control style: pneumatic and hydraulic. The back-up tong is supplied with a torque sensor to measure precisely connection torque. The tong is designed and manufactured according to API 7K.

Casing Tong with Backup Tong is used to make up and break out for casing operation in oil fields. It greatly reduces the labor of worker, enhances connection quality of thread and diminished accidents in inappropriate casing operation.

1.Opening type, convenient and prompt to enter and slide off the working position, with an integral tong head of great strength and rigidity.

2. Double swing head jaws, very convenient to assemble and disassemble, with the best design for tangent-diameter ratio, ensuring the reliability of gripping and easy backslide.

3. The shell and transmission gear are strengthened, which greatly enhance service life of the tong.

4. Band brake of great moment, easy to operate and convenient to maintain and replace.

5.Self-lubricated curve rollers to support notched gear can bear impact load, and promise easy lubrication of tong head.

6. High torque motor of swing cylinder type will supply effective power. The power tong takes mechanical gear changing and its structure is simple and reliable.

7. Be fitted with hydraulic torque gauge as well as the joint for a round-torque gauge makes it possible for computers to manage the process.

8. Connection between master tong and backup tong is simple and master tong can work individually. Casing tong being equipped with backup tong can improve its service life and enhance working safety.
